Last wednesday Janice was dam funny...She started speaking to Asraf in broken English in the hopes that he would subconsciously internalize it and blurt it out during his RGS interview...I joined in soon after...We started saying things like "you wants to goes to canteen?" and "good lucks to you", just so he would say "i believes i has the potential" when the interviewers ask him why they should hire him...But no lar...No malicious intent, and Asraf is a little smarter than that...Then again for someone who said "NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF HOSPITAL" when pointing out NUH to a group of pre-U students...hmmm...
Then last last wednesday i wanted to smack prof chng...We were doing an article on the male body for gender class and started talking about what the ideal male body type is for Singaporeans...Quite unanimously, the class said it would be toned...U know, neither skinny nor mesomorphic...Then Rachel, my good'ol reading buddy said an example of such a person was...*drum roll*...ME! (I bot her kopi after tt). Then, Chng was like "shaun? no he's too skinny" and my ego went from PHWA! to PSsssss....Calling a guy skinny is as bad as calling a girl fat...Big no-no...and i realli wanted to let her haf it...Wednesday mornings are so fun...
