Mr Z. is actually Zhiqian...I call him Mr.Z cos as u know my mandarin sux and i haf problems getting the han yu ping yin rite at times...Also i used to listen to this Christian tape on Bible stories when i was really young and there was this reader who called Zacheaus (clearly wrong spelling please refer to your bibles), the infamous tax collector. Mr.Z. So anyway, if u all din know, Mr.Z was my secondary 3 and 4 classmate. In sec.2, i did well enough to go to a triple science class and when i was transferred over to sec 3B from sec 2D, i din know anyone there. What was worse was that most of the sec 3B people already knew each other (as most were from the same sec 2 class) so cliques were already formed and this made it harder to penetrate groups and forge new friendships. Mr Z. however, was probably the only one who bothered to get to know me and to sorta bring me into his clique of frens. And it is for that that i am very grateful to him. Otherwise, i may not have known anyone back then.
So i met Mr.Z and Zhiren (also very Victoria School) at PS y'day for dinner. We ate at pasta mania before gg to Cartel for dessert. Wah! Mr.Z and Zhiren can really eat man!!! And i thot I ate a lot. Mr Z. ate pizza (not shared mind you), soup, garlic bread and a waffle (about whole) in all. Here are 2 photos:
The one above is Zhiren, the one below is Mr.Z. Glad to have met them. Mr.Z seemed so stressed out. I'm realli glad that i chose not to do a thesis or i'll prob be as busy as he is with his fyp now.
Before meeting them, i managed to do my Christmas shopping. Bot most of the stuff i intended to buy for people...and now am super broke! I decided NOT to look at my bank account from now on till after CNY when things should be a little more encouraging than it is currently. Is it realli better to give than to receive? No. But it still feels good to give anyhow...
